Många forskare från Folkhälsans forskningscenter kommer att delta i årets Europeiska diabeteskonferans och föreläsa om sina forskningsområden.
Sedan European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) grundades år 1965 har organisationen anordnat ett årsmöte som under åren utvecklats till den världens största internationella årliga konferans om diabetesforskning.
Årets konferens hålls under den nästa vecka och är helt virtuell. Förutom att presentera de senaste resultaten inom diabetes och relaterad forskning kommer konferansen att innehålla en virtuell 3D-utställning och forum för det globala medicinska vetenskapliga samfundet att i realtid träffas via chatt-, samtals-, video- och diskussionsforum.
Niina Sandholm från Folkhälsans forskningscenter har blivit inbjuden att föreläsa om ”Urinsyra: en biomarkör eller riskfaktor för sjukdomar” och många fler av våra forskare kommer att hålla muntliga eller affischpresentationer om sina kompetensområden.
